Akuafo Nketewa Company Limited is proud to receive credit support from the Millennium Development Authority under the Ghana CARES “Obaatan Pa” Programme. The HAPPY initiative focuses on empowering young farmers to enhance their productivity in rice, soybeans, and maize cultivation. This project provides comprehensive training in good agronomic practices, financial management, and entrepreneurial skills, alongside robust market support services. The primary goals are to boost food security, increase income levels, and create both direct and indirect employment opportunities. Initially, the project targets 2,000 rice and soybean farmers in northern Ghana, with plans to expand nationwide in the coming years.
